What is happening
- Entergy Louisiana has asked to add seven gas plants for Meta's Hyperion campus, ten in total and about 7.5 GW; the Louisiana PSC decides in December 2026 (Docket 32728).
- Entergy reports 7–12 GW of data center interest and signed gas transport for 1.325 Bcf/d to fuel 10 new combined-cycle plants.
- MISO is developing an expedited process for large-load and resource additions.
